L’Oréal Unveils Cell BioPrint at CES 2025
At CES 2025, L’Oréal introduced the Cell Bio-Print, a ground-breaking lab-on-a-chip device designed to provide personalized skin analysis in just five minutes. Developed in collaboration with Korean start-up NanoEnTek, this device leverages advanced proteomics to offer insights into skin aging and health.
The Cell Bio-Print assesses three key areas: skin’s biological age, ingredient responsiveness, and proactive skincare. By analysing protein biomarkers, it predicts how the skin will respond to active ingredients like retinol and identifies potential issues before they become visible.
Barbara Lavernos, Deputy CEO of Research, Innovation, and Technology at L’Oréal Groupe, highlighted the device’s potential to shift skincare from reactive to proactive, empowering users to take control of their skin’s health and appearance.
The Cell Bio-Print is set to pilot in Asia later this year, with plans for global expansion. This innovative device represents a significant step forward in personalized skincare, offering consumers detailed and actionable insights into their skin biology.
