L’Oréal Crowned Most Future-Ready Beauty Company in IMD’s 2025 Report

L’Oréal has once again secured the top spot in IMD Business School’s Future Readiness Report, reaffirming its position as the most future-ready beauty company.
The annual ranking evaluates companies on their ability to anticipate trends, innovate, and adapt in a rapidly evolving market. L’Oréal’s heavy investment in R&D, AI-powered beauty tech, and sustainability initiatives were key factors in its success.
IMD highlighted L’Oréal’s cutting-edge digital tools, including virtual try-on apps and AI-driven skin diagnostics, which enhance customer engagement and personalization. The company’s commitment to eco-friendly packaging and natural ingredients, exemplified by its ‘By Garnier, Naturally’ campaign, also contributed to its high score.
With a perfect score of 100, L’Oréal topped the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) category for the second consecutive year, outperforming industry giants like Coca-Cola, Nestlé, and Procter & Gamble.
IMD’s report emphasized that future-ready companies aren’t necessarily the largest by revenue, but those that consistently invest in innovation, data, and talent to turn uncertainty into opportunity.
