L'Oréal Partners with the Louvre to Explore Beauty Through Art

In a groundbreaking collaboration, L’Oréal has partnered with the Louvre Museum in Paris to create an exhibition titled “De Toutes Beautés!” (Of All Beauties). This unique exhibition, which opened on November 13, 2024, explores over 10,000 years of beauty through 108 selected works of art.

The exhibition, curated by the Louvre in collaboration with L’Oréal’s Art, Culture & Heritage Department, showcases beauty gestures, rituals, and idealized visions of beauty from various cultures and eras. Visitors can explore the evolution of beauty concepts, from ancient Greece to modern times, through a specially designed web application accessible via QR codes1.

Laurence des Cars, President and Director of the Louvre Museum, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “Partnering with L’Oréal’s expertise in beauty has allowed us to provide visitors with new insights on and a broader perspective of the museum’s collections with new audiences”. Nicolas Hieronimus, CEO of L’Oréal Groupe, added, “At the heart of our purpose, ‘to create the beauty that moves the world,’ lies the desire to make beauty accessible to all and tell the story of beauty’s diverse and enduring role since the dawn of time”.

The exhibition aims to inspire new perspectives on the diversity of beauty by encouraging inclusion and tolerance across cultures, civilizations, and eras. It also highlights the importance of beauty in society and its role in self-expression and confidence.
