Lucas Meyer Cosmetics, a subsidiary of Clariant, has launched an innovative active ingredient called GlowCytocin. This groundbreaking product targets the oxytocin receptor, often associated with feelings of love and bonding, to promote what the company describes as a “love glow.” GlowCytocin is designed to enhance the connection between skin and mind, aligning with the growing trend of holistic beauty solutions. GlowCytocin™ is derived from the dormant bulb of Hyacinthus orientalis, a flower symbolizing love and serenity.

The launch took place at the PCHi 2025 exhibition in Guangzhou, China, where Lucas Meyer Cosmetics showcased GlowCytocin alongside other new ingredients.
