Last month, Symrise celebrated the inauguration of their first facility for cosmetic ingredients in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This state-of-the-art site covers 1,788 square meters and is designed to blend high-quality ingredients for the Indian market, marking a significant milestone in Symrise’s Asia-Pacific growth strategy.

Chung Sin Wong, VP of Cosmetic Ingredients, Asia Pacific, emphasized the strategic importance of this facility, saying, “Chennai represents more than a factory. It forms a blueprint for sustainable growth and strategic expansion.” Surya Lukito, Director of Cosmetic Ingredients, South Asia & SEAO, and Yohanna Sander, VP of Micro Protection, also attended the event.

With packaging, raw material storage, and advanced blending facilities, the new site embodies Symrise’s commitment to safety, quality, profitability, and sustainability. Wong highlighted, “Together, we inspire, innovate, and drive the change that shapes our future.”
