Tennis sensation Serena Williams Partners with Indian Beauty Start-up

Tennis legend Serena Williams has joined forces with Indian Beauty business start-up , The Good Glamm Group to launch Wyn Beauty in the US beauty market. Williams, a 23-time major title winner, is investing equity in the venture, marking a departure from traditional brand endorsements.

The collaboration is expected to provide a significant boost to The Good Glamm Group, which is eyeing a public listing around Diwali in 2025. Founder Arpan Sanghvi views this move as a historic milestone for Indian startups, marking the first mainstream consumer launch in the US by an Indian company. The launch will be facilitated through a partnership with Ulta Beauty, covering approximately half of the retailer’s offline stores across the US. Sanghvi anticipates a substantial portion of the group’s revenues to come from international markets, with a strategic focus on capturing global opportunities.

Wyn Beauty aims to offer products for lips, face, and eyes in the $20-30 price range. Williams expressed her vision for the brand, emphasizing the importance of empowering individuals to define their own standards of beauty.
