Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine Launches Sunnie: A Gen Z Movement

Reese Witherspoon unveils Sunnie by Hello Sunshine at Cannes Lions 2025, a Gen Z-focused lifestyle and media brand for confidence and community

At the 2025 Cannes Lions Festival, Reese Witherspoon unveiled Sunnie, a bold new media and lifestyle brand from Hello Sunshine, created with and for Gen Z girls and young women. Designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and community, Sunnie offers a refreshing alternative to the pressure-filled digital world—inviting young women to reclaim their time, follow their curiosity, and show up as their truest selves.

Backed by a Gen Z advisory board and grounded in research from Être and YPulse, Sunnie is more than a brand—it’s a movement. The platform spans digital zines, social content, experiential events, and custom curriculum, with early collaborations featuring creators like Lana Condor, Molly Carlson, and Raegan Revord.

With e.l.f. Beauty as its foundational partner and Purdue University as its official university ally, Sunnie is also forging strategic alliances with organizations like AnitaB.org, Child Mind Institute, and the Women’s Sports Foundation to amplify its mission.

“Sunnie is a celebration of young women’s agency, imagination, and joy,” said Witherspoon. “We’re building a space where they can explore who they are—without the pressure of having it all figured out.”
