Cosmoprof India 2023 Anticipates Record-Breaking Participation and Growth

Cosmoprof India, a pivotal event in the Cosmoprof network and the fourth destination in its series, is scheduled from 7 to 9 December, 2023, at the Jio World Convention Center (JWCC) in Mumbai.

The show gearing up for its highly awaited 2023 edition with the anticipation of surpassing previous successes. Recognized for its unique scale, the event is poised to showcase the entire spectrum of the beauty industry, ranging from ingredients to finished products, covering the entire cosmetics and beauty supply chain.

The 2022 edition of Cosmoprof India hosted 300 exhibitors from 12 countries and attracted 7,500 visitors from 50 nations. The upcoming December edition is expected to achieve even greater milestones, with a remarkable +36% growth in new exhibitors compared to the previous year. Over 450 exhibitors are set to participate, with 78% hailing from the domestic sector, spotlighting the thriving local industry.

International participation is also on the rise, experiencing a noteworthy +19% increase in exhibitors compared to the previous year. This surge is credited to new initiatives by local and international governments and associations. Italy, Korea, and Taiwan have already confirmed their presence with dedicated country and group pavilions, and more nations are expected to join in the coming weeks.

Cosmoprof India 2023 will showcase a diverse range of sectors, including branded finished products, beauty salon and spa, equipment and furnishing, perfumery and cosmetics, and haircare. This mirrors the growing demand for personal care, skincare, and fragrances in the domestic market, driven by evolving consumer habits, increased preference for e-commerce, and a willingness to invest in quality products.

Concurrently, Cosmopack India, focusing on the beauty supply chain, is set to occupy 61% of the total exhibition area, featuring primary and secondary packaging, OEM, ODM, and private label sectors, with machinery and equipment and raw materials following closely.

The anticipated attendance for Cosmoprof India 2023 is over 9,000, marking a significant +20% increase from 2022. A dedicated buyer program will host key players from India, neighboring countries, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Europe – crucial regions for local import and export activities.
