LVMH Recherche and LVMH’s beauty R&D group are harnessing the advanced capabilities of Integrated Biosciences in AI and synthetic biology to expedite the discovery of innovative anti-aging skincare technologies.

A strategic collaboration between beauty giant LVMH and California-based Integrated Biosciences aims to revolutionize the field by leveraging cutting-edge scientific tools and methodologies.

Integrated Biosciences combines artificial intelligence with optogenetics, a technique that enables precise control and monitoring of biological functions in individual cells, cell groups, tissues, and organs. By integrating deep learning models, the company can “virtually screen hundreds of thousands of molecules” to identify chemical compounds with the highest potential to modulate age-related biological phenotypes.

Notably, Integrated Biosciences has already established a strong reputation by utilizing AI to discover novel senolytic compounds that eliminate senescent cells. The company was founded by scientists from MIT, Harvard University, and the University of California Santa Barbara.
