Kult Secures $20 Million in Series A Funding to Expand Beauty Tech Innovations

Beauty tech and discovery platform Kult has successfully raised $20 million (over ₹170 crore) in a Series A funding round led by the M3M Family Office, with participation from Venture Catalysts.

Founded by Karishma Singh and Ruchika Pallavi, Kult leverages AI-driven technology to offer personalized skincare recommendations and a visual catalog showcasing products for diverse Indian skin tones. The fresh capital will be used to scale operations, onboard 700 premium beauty products, and process over 10,000 orders per day by the end of 2025.

The funding comes at a time when India’s beauty and personal care (BPC) market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 10%, reaching $30 billion by 2027, with the online BPC segment expected to account for $10 billion.

Dr. Payal Kanodia and Aishwarya Bansal, who acquired a 55% stake in Kult, will join the board alongside the founders. The company aims to expand its workforce, hiring over 200 professionals across sourcing, engineering, product development, and user experience.
