Silab’s Liftilience Wins ICIC Award for Innovation in Cosmetics Technology

Silab has been honored with the ICIC Award for its natural film-forming active, Liftilience, in the Technology Innovative Ingredient Benchmark category at the International Cosmetics Innovation Conference (ICIC).

Liftilience, developed using Silab’s proprietary FHB Technology, is a functionalized helical biopolymer derived from chestnut polysaccharides. The ingredient offers optimized tensor effects and adhesion properties, making it a beauty enhancer and makeup perfector with immediate and long-lasting benefits.  “We have been developing tensors of natural origin for over 35 years,” said Brigitte Closs-Gonthier, CEO and General Manager of R&D, Quality, and Communication at Silab. “Our strength lies in our ability to combine each generation of phytotensor with increasingly sophisticated technology. Liftilience represents our sixth generation of phytotensor, based on the FHB Technology, and we are thrilled to receive this recognition”.

The award highlights Silab’s expertise in biopolymerization and natural ingredient innovation, reinforcing its position as a leader in advanced cosmetic formulations.
