The Moms Co. Raises funds for expansion

Delhi-based baby care brand  The Moms Co. has raised $8 Mn Series B funding from Saama Capital, DSG Consumer Partners besides angel investors Ad guru Shripad Nadkarni and the founders of Beardo, Ashutosh Valani and Priyank Shah. The three-year-old company founded by husband-wife duo Malika and Mohit Sadani has raised $10 million so far through investments. The company will use the funds to reach With this 5 million consumers and touch  Rs 100 crore in revenue run rate. The brand also looks to add newer products to its natural, toxin-free products range, as well as expand into newer retail formats. It will also deploy the fresh funds to bolster technology, and launch the brand internationally. The Moms Co. Offers prenatal, postnatal care, mom personal care and baby care. The company has also diversified its offerings across categories of skincare, haircare, and others, with over 30 SKUs. The Moms Co. now delivers to over 15,000 pin codes and has a physical presence in five cities across India, reaching out to over 1 million customers.
