Trent Launches ‘Zudio Beauty’ to Compete in Mass-Market Segment

Noel Tata-led Trent has introduced a new retail format called ‘Zudio Beauty’, marking its entry into the mass-market beauty segment. This new venture aims to compete with established brands such as Hindustan Unilever’s Elle18, Sugar Cosmetics, Health & Glow, and Colorbar.

Zudio Beauty is strategically positioned to meet the growing demand for affordable beauty products, a market where competitors like Reliance, Nykaa, and Shoppers Stop primarily focus on premium and luxury categories , especially in their offline stores.

Industry sources indicate that the first Zudio Beauty store has opened in Bengaluru, with plans for expansion to major cities including Gurugram, Pune, and Hyderabad.
