Foxtale Secures Rs. 250 Crore in Series C Funding

Mumbai-based direct-to-consumer (D2C) skincare brand Foxtale has successfully raised Rs. 250 crore (approximately $30 million) in its Series C funding round. The round was led by Japanese beauty products company Kose Corporation, with participation from existing investors Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners India), Kae Capital, and Panthera Growth Partners.
This funding marks a significant milestone for Foxtale, nearly doubling its valuation to Rs. 1,530 crore (approximately $180 million) from its previous valuation of Rs. 795 crore. The funds will be utilized to expand product offerings, enhance marketing efforts, and strengthen its presence in the Indian skincare market.
Founded in 2021, Foxtale specializes in affordable skincare products tailored to Indian skin types, addressing concerns such as acne, aging, and hyperpigmentation. The brand’s products are available on its official website and popular marketplaces like Nykaa, Amazon, Blinkit, Flipkart, and Myntra.
Foxtale’s founder and CEO, Romita Mazumdar, expressed optimism about the company’s growth trajectory, stating that the funding will enable them to innovate further and reach a broader audience.
