Revlon India Charts Bold Growth Path Under Meghna Modi

Revlon India is undergoing a dynamic transformation under the leadership of Meghna Modi, Executive Director and Head of the Indian Subcontinent. Since her appointment in November 2023, Modi has spearheaded a strategic reset aimed at doubling the brand’s footprint and revenue within the next two to three years.

In partnership with Modi-Mundipharma Beauty Products, Revlon India is aggressively expanding its presence across retail and digital channels. The company plans to scale its exclusive brand outlets from 300 to over 600 and increase its department store presence from 1,000 to more than 4,000 doors nationwide. This expansion is backed by a sharpened focus on color cosmetics and personal care, including makeup, skincare, hair color, and body sprays.

Modi’s strategy blends offline growth with digital acceleration. Currently, 25% of Revlon India’s sales come from online platforms, and the brand is investing heavily in visual storytelling and influencer engagement to connect with millennial and Tier-II city consumers.

Innovation is central to the brand’s evolution. Revlon India is expanding into new categories such as perfumes and haircare, and has launched the youth-focused Street Wear Cosmetics line, with price points starting at ₹399 to appeal to aspirational consumers.

“Our mission is to move the world forward boldly—giving every woman the platform to live fully, freely, and with purpose,” said Meghna Modi at a recent media interaction. “From passive management to active engagement, every stakeholder—from retailers to beauty advisors—must be part of this journey to achieve greatness”.

With a legacy as India’s first international cosmetics brand, Revlon is now poised for a new chapter of relevance and growth—driven by innovation, inclusion, and intention.
