The Ayurveda Experience raises $27 mn from Jungle Ventures

Global direct-to-consumer Ayurveda brand, The Ayurveda Experience (TAE), has successfully raised $27 million in a funding round led by Singapore-based venture investment firm, Jungle Ventures. Other notable participants in this round include SIDBI Ventures, Anicut Capital, and Sharrp Ventures, part of the Mariwala Family Office associated with consumer goods major Marico.

TAE stands as the largest direct-to-consumer Ayurveda content and products company, serving markets in North America, Europe, Canada, Australia, and India. The brand offers a diverse portfolio, comprising four lines of beauty and health products: iYURA, Ajara, A Modernica Naturalis, and Ayuttva. Additionally, TAE provides various services such as consultations, content, webinars, and courses on Ayurveda.

With this latest funding, TAE’s total investment raised exceeds $41 million, indicating robust investor confidence. Founded by Rishabh Chopra in 2010, the company plans to utilize these funds to bolster its research and development, supply chain, and manufacturing capabilities. Moreover, TAE aims to expand distribution channels and enhance user engagement through innovative content and technology across its platform.

TAE boasts a global presence, selling products in 20 countries, including India. Remarkably, over 97% of its customers prefer purchasing directly from TAE’s app and website, underscoring the brand’s strong direct-to-consumer model and customer loyalty
