AdilQadri eyes global expansion, targets Rs 250 cr next fiscal

AdilQadri, a direct-to-consumer perfume brand based in Gujarat, is poised for global expansion, eyeing online markets in the US, Canada, and the UK. Founder and CEO Adil Qadri revealed the company’s ambitious plans, aiming to establish online stores in key international regions while also venturing into offline and online stores in Saudi Arabia and D2C expansion in Dubai.

The bootstrapped company, established in 2018, aims to achieve a revenue of Rs 200 – Rs 250 crore for the FY 2024-2025, leveraging all its channels including D2C, retail, and kiosks. AdilQadri has experienced significant growth, particularly since 2022, witnessing a substantial increase in revenue year-on-year. In FY 2022-2023, the company generated approximately Rs 20 crore and in the current fiscal year FY 2023-2024, expectations is to close at Rs 90 crore.

AdilQadri gained further recognition after its appearance on Shark Tank India Season 3, securing an offer of Rs 1 crore for 1% equity and 1% royalty from Vineeta Singh, CEO of Sugar Cosmetics. Looking ahead, the company aims to raise $4-5 million through venture capitalists, facilitating future expansion and growth.

In addition to global aspirations, AdilQadri plans to expand its footprint in India, particularly in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala, Delhi, and Telangana. With technology playing a pivotal role in its operations, the company collaborates with various tech enablers, utilizing platforms like Shopify, GoKwik, and Unicommerce to streamline its processes and enhance business growth.
